  10. It's quite obvious that 3DS has a large market share. It's going to take 
  11. one heck of a good 3D package a while to upset that basket but it's not 
  12. impossible.  If the package is good enough offering the best features vs. 
  13. cost factor, it's quite possible that 3DS will have a run for the money.

  15. I guess time will tell.  Those that have been using 3DS for a long time in 
  16. a professional arena are going to be hard pressed to switch packages.  
  17. They have a substantial investment in not only money but time using and 
  18. learning the package.  It'll be a good year or so before any real effects 
  19. of Lightwave on the PC and SGI are realized.
